4th Annual Snuggaversary and the Story of Us

Today is the 4th annual Snuggaversary!! (Or the date that we count as 'when we started dating'). I think this is a fine occasion to deviate from the TCW's normal tone for a story that's a little sweeter, the story of us...

"C-Rock and J-Mado met years before they began dating through a mutual group of Georgia Tech and Agnes Scott college friends.  The first conversation they ever had was at a friend's apartment in early 2004. C-Rock was trying to learn J-Mado’s world renown “party trick”, a gymnastic accomplishment of which he had no real intention of achieving. Over the next few years they would chat at gatherings and occasionally partner up to take on the competition at party games (always winning, of course!) Finally, in the spring of 2007 C-Rock caught J-Mado’s eye with his athletic prowess as their kickball team’s lead pitcher. After the kickball season ended (Go Revenge of the Nerds!) they shared their first kiss on a memorial day camping trip. From there on out the two were attached at the hip and quickly fell in love..." 

Of course this is the much abbreviated and rose-tinted version of the story that made it on our wedding blog. There's some minor details smoothed over (like the fact that in order to get me to kiss him for the first time, C-Rock, who was sitting behind me in a camping chair as I sat on the beach leaned over, put me in a semi-headlock, and laid one on me Spider Man style...) But, it's our story none-the-less ;)
